Gynecomastia
Gynecomastia is the swelling or enlargement of breast tissue in males caused by an imbalance of the estrogen and testosterone hormones. This condition can affect one or both breasts, sometimes asymmetrically, resulting in different shapes and sized breasts.
While Gynecomastia itself is usually not a serious medical issue, it can cause emotional distress, mainly due to concerns about body image or when associated with pain or tenderness.
